June Favourites

Hi people! So today I am going to be doing my June favourites I was planning of doing this a long time ago so I thought I would give it a try, but anyway these are the things I have been loving:


My Favourite Book
My favourite book this June has been 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time', this book is about an autistic boy called Christopher who tries to investigate the murder of a dog called Wellington who was found dead with a pitchfork through it's chest (gruesome I know), this book lets you learn the history of Christopher's past, thoughts and investigation, I would recomend this...it was so good that they have made it into a West End show (also a movie...I think?) and the author of this book is Mark Haddon.

    
My Favourite Song
I have many favourite songs and the song I have been loving these past 2 weeks is 'Want you to Want Me' by Jason Derulo, I have been singing it for non-stop and it has been in the top charts for 4 weeks.

My Favourite Programe/Series

I have been watching the 'Lost' series and I am in love I am still only on Series 2 but I love it. It's about a group of people who crash on a plane, landing on an island...meeting polar bears, smoke monsters, horses and the strange group called The Others (etc), the people of Flight Oceanic learn how to adapt to the island and realise how amazing, magical and mysterious it is. My favourite characters are Sawyer, Claire, Hurley and Mr.Ecko...I also like the dog Vincent. I would recomend this amazing series, it is very confusing but when you watch more seasons you will love it! The characters are great and the scenery (the filmed most of it in Hawaii) is beautiful also there are a lot of flashbacks about the characters' pasts.

My Favourite Make Up

I have been loving my naked eye shadow palette, it has loads of colours to choose from and it has a very soft and good brush.

My Favourite Place

I have been to many places in my time but my favourite place I have been to this month is Chartwell, this is the place where Winston Churchill lived with beautiful gardens, a breath-taking house and an amazing cafe that sells luxurious ice cream.

My Favourite App

My favourite app that was already downloaded on my phone is YouTube, it's amazing and I am addicted to it!

My Favourite YouTuber
I have two I love Watchmojo as they post every single day and they do Top 10's which I enjoy (lots about superheroes...fan girling right now!) And I have also been loving this YouTuber called Emma Blackery she does videos about first world problems, funny videos, funny songs and tags, she has shaved her head for charity and she is a funny woman! (May say that she swears a lot).

Harry Potter Tag

Harry Potter Tag

Hey guys I am very sorry I haven't uploaded for a long time as I have been extra busy...but anyway my friend Louise told me about the Harry Potter Tag and I thought I would have a go at it, I want to tag anyone who is a Harry Potter fan.

1. Favourite book?
I have only read 3 of the Harry Potter books so I will have to say the Chamber of Secrets as it was very similar to the film and I liked the mysterious events in that book.

2. Favourite movie?
My favourite movie is The Goblet of Fire as I liked all the games they played and it was so exciting when Voldermort became human again! Also I loved the Yule Ball as the dresses were beautiful and the set of it was too.

3. Least favourite book?
The Prisoner of Azkaban as it took me ages to read, it was very different to the film and I got a little bored eventually...

4. Parts of the books/movies made you cry?
The Order of the Phoenix as Sirius Black died (spoiler alert) and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 as I was sad it was over...:(

5. If you could hook up with any character who would it be?
I did quite like Cedric Diggory but he betrayed the Harry Potter fans to move to Twilight! So I have to say Draco Malfoy as I fancied him in the Half Blood Prince, also the actor is goodlooking to.

6. Who is your favourite character? 
 Luna Lovegood as she was crazy, she was kind and I loved her costumes she wore, I also quite liked the evilness of Bellatrix Le Strange.

7. Who was your least favourite character?
I didn't like Lavender Brown as she was very annoying, she was a very clingy girlfriend for Ron, she had the most annoying voice and when she went out with Ron I felt sorry for Hermione.

8. What is your least favourite line?
None! I love all of them.

9. What would your patronus be?
I would like to have a cat but I did a quiz and I got a stag just like Harry.

10.  Out of the elder wand, the resurrection stone or the invisibility cloak what would you use?
I would like to speak to some people that aren't here anymore but I think the invisibility cloak would be more fun to use.

11. Which house would you be in?
Ravenclaw, as it has my favourite character from there (Luna) and I did a quiz and I was got Ravenclaw! Also I am a good thinker and very loyal to my friends.

12. If you could meet anyone from the cast?
Probably Evanna Lynch who plays Luna Lovegood as she is a very crazy person like Luna, she is vegan which is similar to me as I am a vegetarian (don't know why that reason) and also she has the most adorable cat ever!

13. If you were on the Quidditch team, which position would you play?
I probably would be a Chaser, as I am quick and I like aiming for goals! (Ha get it!?) Also I am bad at using a bat (Beater), I am an awful goalie (Keeper) and finding the Snitch is too hard (Seeker).

14. Were you happy with the ending?
Yes but I would've liked to see Luna in the future and other people's 'stories' and families.

15. How much does Harry Potter mean to you?
A lot I found my obsession a few years ago when I watched it, I know I like other things such as DC and Lost but I really love this film and one day I want to show this to my future relatives...

This story was my childhood.

Scariest Thing Tag

Scariest Thing Tag

Hi guys!
Today I am going to be doing the Scariest Thing Tag, I am sorry I didn't post anything yesterday, so I thought long and hard and I am going to do a new schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and/or Sunday. So yeah! I tag anyone who would like to do this tag! 

1. Scariest real-life experience
I have had a few but the scariest for me are, I once had a dream (in my old house) of this armoured guy and in the dream he reached out and touched me, I actually felt this and I woke up and no one was there! Also in my new house I have a automatic light in my bathroom and it turns on if you go past it or go into the bathroom, but when I sometimes can't get to sleep my light turns on itself without anyone going past it! Also I hear a few noises come from my attic! :O

2. Scariest paranormal experience
This links to the attic thing, but I once did hear someone say 16 but it wasn't my next door neighbour as she is very loud and 'Essex' and the woman voice was quite mature and soft. I haven't really ever had a paranormal experience but these are still a little creepy.

3. Have you ever known anyone been convicted of a violent crime?
No, but someone died in a Tesco car park as I walked next to the 'crime scene' apparently it was suicide.

4. Are you afraid of the dark? Why, why not?
I am, I have done loads of games like Bloody Mary and Blind Man's Bluff, but that has never put me off the dark, I guess I get scared of the dark as I am scared what is there or what might jump out of you.

5. Does your hometown have any scary stories or legends?
Yes I think there are hauntings at this pub, also there is this manor which is haunted too.

6. What is your favourite urban legend?
I like Bloody Mary, you go to a mirror closing your eyes, you spin 3 times saying "Bloody Mary" over and over again and Queen Mary I (or Bloody Mary) appears in the mirror, it doesn't work but it's fun to try. I also like the legend about Candle Cove, it's about some adults who watched this programme and it was called Candle Cove, but people have said that this programme has never existed and that the parents of some of these adults said that when they were kids 'watching Candle Cove' all they saw was static. Also one woman said she had very horrible dreams about the show, based on the evil guy the Skin Taker, also people stated that the last episode just had continuous screaming and shouting.

7. What is your scariest nightmare?
Probably the one I mentioned on question 1, also I had a dream about aliens but now I just laugh about it!

This or That Tag Part 2

This or that Tag PART 2

Hi guys,
I have been very busy over the half term so I wasn't able to post many outfit diaries...sorry! But anyway I have been shopping and a haul is coming out soon! And also I will be doing the This or That Tag Part 2 today so let's get started.

Nail

1. OPI or China Glaze?
I don't know these as these are American products, but my favourite nail brand is Miss Sporty as I have really nice shades (pastel blue and teal).

2. Long or short?
Long, as short looks a little messy and long looks more professional and it stands out more.

3. Acrylic or natural?
I don't really know the difference! 

4. Brights or darks?
I love both...I can't decide!

5. Nail art or one colour?
Nail art, it's fun to do and it looks cool, although I wear one colour more as it is a little more simple to wear.

This or That Tag Part 1

This or That Tag

Hello guys,

I have been very busy as most of you will know so I am trying to cram in as much blogs as I can this evening. Today I am doing the This or That Tag, I've been tagged by Louise...which I would like to shout out to as she's a great friend and a good 'walking buddy' :D But anyway this tag is about lifestyle, hair, make up and fashion so this tag is based around style! Also I am going to be doing the subjects in different parts as it is a long tag...sorry!

So let's get started!

Make up

Blush or bronzer?

I like both, but bronzer is my favourite as it makes your cheeks shine! 

Lipgloss or lipstick?

I love lipstick as it comes it lots of shades and really stands out, whereas lipgloss is a little plain as most lipgloss is just pink and sparkley and also my hair gets stuck in it! :(

Eyeliner or mascara?

I like both but eyeliner can be hard to put on, so my favourite is mascara, it is easy to put on and I wear it everyday.

Foundation or concealer?

I love concealer as it isn't as in your face as foundation and you can get a lot of concealers which are good for spots whereas foundation isn't very good for spots.

Neutral or colour eye shadow?

Neutral, as it matches my skin tone and also coloured is a bit too much for me. But I don't mind blue as a shadow or a goldie orange.

Pressed or loose eyeshadow?

Pressed, it's not messy and it looks more neat and professional!?

Brushes or sponges?

Brushes, their more comfortable on the skin...and who uses sponges anyway?!

My Fresh Summer Smoothie Recipe

My Fresh Summer Smoothies

Hello guys,
I made some very nice smoothies on Saturday so I thought I would share to you my recipe...

Ingredients

-1 banana
-5-6 strawberries
-1 and a half dessert spoonful of creme fraiche (or natural yoghurt)
-A half dessert spoonful of vanilla ice-cream
-1 drop of honey (optional)
-3 crushed/flaked almonds
-200ml of milk

Method

1. Chop up your banana and put into a mixer
2. Cut up your strawberries and drop into mixer
3. Add the milk, creme fraiche (or natural yoghurt) and ice-cream
4. Add 1 drop of honey (optional) and pop the almonds in as well.
5. Mix all the ingredients in the mixer.
6. Test the taste of your smoothie (if it isn't sweet enough, add a teaspoon of sugar or an extra piece of banana.
7. Pour your smoothie into a nice glass and add a straw.
8. Get an extra strawberry and cut a slit at the bottom of it and sit it onto the side of the glass, for extra flavour squirt some whipped cream on top and/or add a mint leaf onto the top of the smoothie.
